The Timeline

Dear Friends,

First, thanks to everyone who chipped in, worked, organized, and participated in the pork chop dinner on Saturday! It was perfect weather and the food was delicious and the company was great! The free-will offering amounted to over $2,100 in support of the Pregnancy Resource Center. “Now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name. . . . For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you” (1 Chronicles 29:13-14)!

Then, we’re almost done with our time in Genesis for Sunday Morning Bible Study. To keep you in the loop, here’s a timeline that’s super helpful for perspective on the whole thing.

Take a look and join in on Sundays and Wednesdays for a survey of the Old Testament! As distant as the history may seem, and as confusing as all the names may be at first, the story of God’s people in the Old Testament is also our story. They’re our family by faith. And so we have a lot to gain from understanding how God was always working to preserve, protect, and build them up into his kingdom!
