Call Update

June 25, 2025

Dear Friends,

This past Sunday, June 22, I announced that I have accepted the call to serve as Pastor at Grace Lutheran Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.

I'm grateful for your patience as this was a long deliberation with the birth of Phinehas in the middle. Also, more than I can say, I'm grateful for your kindness and love.

My last Sunday at Concordia will be August 3, but I'll be here for VBS that week, concluding with our midweek Vespers service on August 6. Then our family is headed on a long-planned vacation, which will land us in Little Rock mid-August.

Please be busy in your prayers – for Grace, for Concordia, and for our family. You will remain in my prayers, with great confidence that Jesus is the Good Shepherd of his sheep!

Old Settler's Pork Chops!

Concordia is serving Pork Chops at Old Settler's Day on Saturday, June 28 at the Fairhaven Park!

When: About 11am - 2pm. Food serving begins after the parade. Root Beer Floats are served at about 1:30pm

How long: Help for an hour or two or three! Whatever works for you!

Cookie and bar donations are also welcome!
